Are You Ready to Become a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)?

Presenter
Pamela J. Byrnes, PhD, Director, Health Center Growth and Development, National Association of Community Health Centers

About the Webinar
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provides $2 billion to be invested in Community Health Centers. The funds cover a wide range of projects including funding to support the New Access Points Grants to significantly increase the number of medically underserved and uninsured people with access to comprehensive primary and preventive health care services. The availability of new grant funding will likely be announced this summer. Is your community behavioral health organization interested in becoming a Federally Quality Health Center? Join us to see what it takes. This webinar will examine the range of health center models, the different aspect of the application process, and some of the operational issues that you will need to explore.
